This project includes the Addition of a new 5242 m2 community centre & library addition to the existing Sixteen Miles Sports Complex facility which is a targeting LEED Gold certification and net zero. The new facility consists of a 25m 6-lane lap pool and leisure pool, fitness/active living centre, multi-use spaces to accommodate seniors, youth & cultural programming and gymnasiums. The library branch will consist of a Creation Zone, work & study spaces, reading & conversation areas, children & teen spaces, flexible and movable shelving, flexible programming space, and public computers.
