East Alliston Public School is a sister building to the Innishore Public School (presently name Hyde Park Public School) that Matthew, Joseph & Frank successfully completed for the SCDSB while at their previous establishment. Both buildings share a similar design with a focus on high energy efficiency throughout the operation of the facility. Innishore Public School has been found to be well under 9ekWh/ft2 for overall energy consumption setting a new standard for energy efficient design, and East Alliston Public School aims to achieve a similar efficiency rating.

The East Alliston Public School project is a new 3-storey, 54,300ft2, elementary school and complete site development. The proposed structure is load bearing masonry walls with hollowcore precast slabs, exterior cladding is primarily masonry brick with architectural block. Included in the building is a two-room daycare facility with its own designated entrance and outdoor playground.

The project is being constructed within a fully developed and occupied residential neighbourhood, and requires close coordination with the Town of New Tecumseth to minimize disruption to this quiet suburban area.
